Learning and Development Coordinator

Job Description

Based out of our Home Office in Greenwood Village, CO the Learning and Development Coordinator position will support the development, deployment, execution, and coordination of Learning and Development and broader Talent Management initiatives.  This will include, but not be limited to, the majority of the administrative tasks associated with Learning and Development and broader Talent Management.


Talent Management: 

  • Administer, coordinate, and maintain all Talent Management accounts including but not limited to; Epic, Hay, StrengthsFinder, Trabon, Mimeo, Covey, and Survey Monkey
  • Maintain department budget and expenses
  • Maintain store room cleanliness, organization, and inventory levels and system
  • Handle setup, food and room logistics for many Talent Management and Home Office meetings
  • Share responsibility with the Talent Management team for developing and deploying a talent development philosophy, strategy and programs to build organizational capability
  • Assist the Talent Management team with the integration and alignment of all Talent Management tools
  • Participate in building solutions where needed to support team member engagement, innovation and overall capability.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor and Vice President of Talent Management


  • Coordinate calendaring, logistics, and materials for onboarding events
  • Track participation and progress through the entire onboarding roadmap
  • Liaison between the recruiting team, hiring managers, new team members, and onboarding facilitators to ensure the program is smoothly and successfully executed
  • Coordinate the logistics of ROD onboarding by:
    • Working with all involved parties to ensure proper assets, materials and access for new RODs
    • Working with HRBP team to facilitate the arrival of assets and materials for new RODs

Learning & Development:

  • Maintain the relevancy and accuracy of Learning and Development content by:
    • Updating, uploading and removing content from the Learning Management System
    • Updating, uploading and removing supporting documents from the resources repository
  • Manage Home Office development offerings by:
    • Sourcing and assessing viable development topics and facilitators
    • Marketing and maintaining offerings and enrollment via the internal development website and frequent communications
    • Maintaining surveys and analytics for Home Office development offerings and Onboarding to ensure maximum effectiveness
  • Manage the YummmU Learning Library by:
    • Fulfilling book requests
    • Managing check ins and follow up on overdue books
    • Keeping library organized
  • Support the School of Leadership program by:
    • Coordinating travel bookings for participants
    • Organizing the materials for each week
    • Planning the meals and activities for each week
    • Processing evaluation data


  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Corporate learning and development experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively within various levels of the organization
  • Ability to speak in public, motivate, captivate and influence his/her audience
  • Ability to demonstrate outstanding written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to plan, meet deadlines, and manage competing priorities
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Ability to uphold and role model Red Robin standards
  • Ability to remain flexible and adapt to different personalities, styles and circumstances
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Proficient with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
