Franchise IT Business Partner

Job Description

Based out of our Home Office in Greenwood Village, CO The Franchise IT Business Partner is a Partner between IT, the business and Franchise community. This position will collaborate with Franchisees on all business initiatives related to technology. The Business Partner will work to ensure that the Franchise community is kept apprised of technology changes and upgrade sand is an advocate for the Franchise community within the business. This position is responsible for having a solid understanding of what’s happening within the business so it can effectively assist the Franchise community with technology needs.



• Acts as a Partner for Franchisees and Corporate for technical needs around project delivery and system support
• Develops and maintains relationships with internal technology teams as well as external technology vendors that support Franchise Community
• Develops long-range IT strategies in support of the business unit
• Acts as an advisor to the Franchise community and is responsible for consistent and current communication to the Franchisees.
• Partners with internal technology team to gather necessary information to assist Franchise community
• Stays current on technical environments of each Franchise as well as current technical infrastructure and architecture of Red Robin Corporate
• Maintains knowledge around Franchise and Corporate technical environments
• Provides recommendations on system updates
• Provides insight and guidance on configuration and system maintenance
• Drafts technical documentation for project implementation and system changes
• Responsible for ensuring projects that involve technology include Franchise Project implementation plan
• Must partner with Franchise community and bring feedback to business around technology needs and ideas
• Project issue resolution and escalation with IT, Corporate and the Franchise community
• Understands and accountable for contractual obligations, SOW and change orders for corporate contracts that cross-over into Franchise community
• Leverages influence and collaborates to drive ideal business results for both the business and Franchise community. Must be comfortable with coaching and driving cross-functional team work.


• Bachelor Degree in Business or related work experience – desired
• 3-4 years of Red Robin Operations and use of POS system – desired
• Strong organizational skills – required
• Able to manage multiple projects, timelines and deadlines – required

• Must be willing to travel at least 5-7 days a month


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Problem determination and troubleshooting skills are required
• Ability to work well under pressure and daily deadlines
• Able to manage multiple tasks and manage heavy workload with strong organizational and time management skills
• Must be able to communicate ideas (both written and verbal) and make recommendations to all levels within the department using tact, common courtesy, persuasion and discretion to achieve objectives
• Fluent in relevant Red Robin Kitchen/ Bar Operational tools (Aloha CFC and MenuLink)
• Able to implement Q&A processes to ensure quality and accuracy – required
• Superior proof reading skills to ensure product quality and accuracy – required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Maintain effective audio-visual discrimination and perception needed for making observations, communicating with others, reading, writing and operating assigned equipment
