Job Description

Based out of our Home Office in Greenwood Village, CO, The Data & Integrations Engineer is responsible for the maintenance, improvement, cleaning, and manipulation of data in operational and analytics databases. The Data & Integrations Engineer works closely with IT platform owners, data analytics teams, and data warehouse architect to understand and aid in the implementation of database requirements, analyze performance, and troubleshoot any existent issues. This position also plays a key role in the development and deployment of innovative cloud platforms for advanced analytics and data processing.



  • Ensure Data Assets meets service level requirements.
  • Monitor business use and performance and provide feedback to the Data Assets Manager.
  • Develop, manage, schedule and document Data Assets operations and tasks, including extraction, movement, loading, archival, security, backup and aggregate table creation.
  • Defines and builds the data rules and pipelines that will enable faster, better, data-informed decision-making within the business.
  • Ensures stable solutions, stable infrastructure and participates in the design and build of services, integrations, and ETL solutions.
  • Manage maintenance processes and procedures.
  • Conduct operational tests.
  • Performance monitoring and tuning.
  • Back-up and restore data as needed.
  • Monitor and support production, development, QA and other Data Assets environments to ensure they are up and running at appropriate times.
  • Collaborate with end users to identify needs and opportunities for improved data management and delivery.
  • Support the ongoing development and operations of an operational data store and enterprise data warehouse or other solutions deemed appropriate for our organization
  • Improve and streamline processes regarding data flow and data quality to improve data accuracy, viability and value.
  • Analyze complex data elements and systems, data flow, dependencies, and relationships in order to contribute to & define conceptual physical and logical data models
  • Apply rigor and compliance to the Incident, Problem, and Service Request processes in accordance to our ITIL service standards.
  • Support consistent triage and execution of incoming requests.
  • Support and follow compliance with all IT controls and interpretations of the IT Information Security Director including, but not limited to SOX, PCI and HIPAA.
  • Staying current with industry trends and advising and educating management about their importance and impact.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.



  • BS Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, CIS, Engineering or related field preferred
  • SQL development experience required
  • Data Science/Data Management Certificate/Experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of relevant work experience in IT/Data & Analytics required
  • 7+ years of software development and/or Data & Integrations Engineering experience preferred
  • Retail/Hospitality/Restaurant industry experience preferred
  • Experience with Cloud platforms like Azure and/or AWS required
  • Data warehousing & business intelligence
  • Data analysis, design, & testing

  • Technical & business analysis
  • Expert knowledge of SQL development, including development of triggers, views, stored procedures, functions, and ETL

  • Data & BI Technology: Oracle, SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, Sybase, DB2, MDM/DRM/DRG
  • Other Applications: ERP’s (Oracle/SAP/MS), EPM (Oracle/Hyperion, SAP BPC, IBM Cognos), Cloud Services (Anaplan, Host Analytics, Oracle, SAP,, Aloha Enterprise, Apache Camel)
  • Languages: SQL, HTML
  • Knowledge system integration design, development and testing ETL processes. 
  • Microsoft: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, SQL Server
