The Work You'll Do

Lots of companies have grown over the past couple of years, and Sovos is not the exception. We have been growing in revenue, headcount and geographically for many years. The conditions which are driving our growth are different from many others, though. The catalyst for our growth was never related to a pandemic, it is tax related. And tax isn’t going anywhere.  

As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a demand generation marketer to help us amplify our story worldwide through use of multi-channel, integrated programs. You will be responsible for creating and capturing demand through scalable online/web marketing, campaigns and content.   

As a member of the marketing team, you develop growth and optimization strategies for our global marketing campaign programs that firmly position us for fast, sustained growth. You will partner closely with all the Marketing functions, Sales, and Product teams to contribute to the pipeline/revenue growth efforts. 

What We Need from You 

  • Develop and implement global demand generation strategies and cross-functional campaigns. Become a principal administrator of email marketing campaigns, overseeing technical setup, audience segmentation, A/B testing, and campaign optimization.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align efforts and drive revenue.
  • Use data and analytics to measure and improve the performance of demand generation efforts.
  • Analyze and report on past campaign performance, translating insights into strategic optimizations to improve conversion funnel.
  • Monitor industry trends and stay up to date on new technologies and techniques.
  • Manage demand generation budgets and forecasts.
  • Provide training and support to team members on demand generation best practices and tools. 

What we ask of you: 

  • 4+ years of experience in a fast-paced, demand generation focused marketing organization, ideally at a SaaS company
  • Experience using Intent Data and ABM strategies and tools to achieve results. 
  • Experience building pipeline and following pipeline through to close.  
  • Strong copywriting skills, preferably in the context of SaaS products
  • Strong project management skills, including being able to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience building, executing, and scaling cross-functional marketing programs.
  • Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements.
  • Experience scaling marketing across multiple locales and/or products.
  • Experience building close working relationships with internal and external partners 
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM tools, Marketo or other Marketing Automation tools.
  • Due to client contractual obligations, the successful candidate will be asked to clear a background check and drug screen upon hire.
