Job Description

Pay:  $16.12 to start, pay raises every 6 months to max at 48 months.  Top rate: $23.92


  • Work as part of the production team to ensure accuracy, consistency and quality at all times.
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate record keeping of the Mixing Sheets, Ingredient Lot tracking, Allergen Change-overs, Pre-Start Inspection & quality documents daily.
  • Responsible for understand the following roles and responsibilities of the following positions;
    • Scaling – Pre-scaling and loading of all minor ingredients
    • Mixing – Controlling all timing and quality issues.
    • Divider position – Controlling scaling weights, and moulder set ups
    • Oven position – Controlling pan supply, proofer and oven systems
  • Work closely with all team members to ensure product quality and maintain line efficiencies (speeds).
  • Fulfil relief duties as required.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, clean and sanitized work area.
  • Work in a safe and conscientious manner.
  • Ensure equipment, tools and ingredients are properly cleaned and stored at end of production shift.

Skills & Requirements


  • Experience with mixing in a food manufacturing facility preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) are a requirement.
  • Basic Math skills required.
  • Ability to follow directions of supervisor and follow all Good Manufacturing Practices and Safety rules and regulations.
  • Must be able to work weekends, including Saturday & Sundays as required, ability to work all shifts.
  • Must have and maintain a strong attendance record.
