About Account Executive

Marketo’s SMB Account Executives are responsible for developing and closing new Marketo business in new enterprise accounts. 



 Manage and sell to a defined territory on our sales team

 Prospect, develop, and close prospects and install base for Marketo’s entire suite of products 

 Create and deliver accurate forecasts

 Perform product demos using web tools to prospects and customers

 Work closely with Customer Success and Support teams to ensure Marketo customer satisfaction 

 Make our customers successful!


Required Experience & Skills

We are looking for a highly motivated, over-achieving hunter who flourishes in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


Also required:

 4+ years of on-quota direct sales experience selling B2B applications/solution; on-demand/SaaS, CRM, SFA, and marketing software/solution sales experience a plus 

 Experience in highly competitive markets

 History of quota over-achievement with pipeline management

 Ability to work in a rapidly expanding and changing environment

 Teamwork and good communication skills a must
