Product Marketing Manager, Pricing and Packaging

The Opportunity

Marketo is looking for a rock-star Sr. Product Marketing Manager to join our team. You are a critical member of the Marketo team with key responsibilities including the development and execution of the go-to-market strategy for Marketo’s offerings. You are expected to drive strategy for pricing, product positioning in market, lifecycle management, and competitive analysis. You possess a record of success in marketing a SaaS solution, delivering measurable results. You thrive in a team environment and work enthusiastically with colleagues outside the immediate team to achieve company goals.
 Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and drive pricing and packaging strategy across product and service lines (existing and new GTM)
  • Manage pricebooks and process for creating and maintaining SKUs within pricebooks
  • Create reports and dashboards (e.g. pipeline, product, revenue) across multiple systems
  • Create sales tools to assist in the pricing and quoting process
  • Work cross-functionally (Sales Ops, Finance, IT, Legal, Estaff) on company-wide pricing initiatives (e.g. increasing ARR, Win Rate, Xsell)
  • Enable customer-facing teams to price solutions and substantiate ROI to prospects and customers
  • Provide deal support for Sales and Finance

Essential Skills, Experience & Education

  • 3-5 years in strategic and analytical role (PMM, PM, business analyst/consultant/operations) or similar
  • Must be able to thrive in a highly dynamic, flexible work environment and switch rapidly from strategy to execution
  • Highly skilled at analytical decision-making; ability to evaluate business issues and resolve problems; ability to develop and write a business plan
  • Proficient at Business Intelligence tools (expert Excel, Tableau, Power BI)
  • Ability to gather intelligence from data, present findings and decisions, influence stakeholders and execute on initiatives
  • Ability to work across organizational lines, command respect, and influence without authority
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

Nice to Have

  • MBA from a well-regarded institution, considered a plus
  • Experience with BI tools a plus
  • Experience with CRM a plus
  • Experience with CPQ tools a plus
