Job Description

The Opportunity

We are looking for a high quality hands-on individual who will deliver stellar results on our top performing and expanding pre-sales consulting team.  You will evangelize the Marketo Revenue Performance Management solutions to primarily non-technical marketing and sales audiences and be the expert with Marketo solutions during the sales cycle, while performing customized product demonstrations via the web to our customers and prospects.  You will collaborate with our sales, marketing and services teams to continually improve our demonstrations, including sales scripts, discovery process, best practices, sharing expertise/training and guiding solution development.


  • Collaborate with Small and Mid-Market Account Executives in a fast paced sales environment to identify and uncover customer business goals, needs and pains
  • Demonstrate the value proposition of the Marketo solution through highly customized product demonstrations
  • Create strategic and technical sales strategies, presentations and product demonstrations for small and mid-market and level customers
  • Provide technical responses to RFPs and RFIs
  • Become the expert on the competitive landscape
  • Leverage knowledge of product and market to help ramp SMB Account Execs to become self sufficient with their own demos
  • Develop and create customer facing collateral and resources to support your efforts as a Solutions Consultant

Required Skills/ Experience:

  • 2+ years of B2B pre-sales solutions consulting, preferably in on-demand/SaaS business environment
  • Experience selling CRM, SFA, and/or marketing software is required
  • Highly dependable, self starter, high energy, positive attitude with good organization and time management skills
  • Experience providing solutions to small and mid market level customers
  • A proven history of quota over-achievement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Teamwork skills a must, ability to lead and manage resources
  • Four year university/college degree or equivalent experience required
