Job Description

The Sr. IT Business Analyst - Salesforce supports the use and integration of Marketo’s SFDC ecosystem, which includes the Marketo product suite and many other SaaS applications.  This position requires a thorough understanding of SFDC’s internal architecture and Force.com technologies.

 

Key Responsibilities

Technical

  • Responsible for Marketo’s overall Force.com environment
  • Work with other Technical Leads to ensure the stability of the systems
  • Ensure that standards are followed by offshore developers and third-party consultants
  • Maintain proper change control over all Force.com objects
  • Provide input to architecture decisions and assists with SaaS product evaluations and selections
  • Provide assistance to SFDC super users throughout Marketo

Production Support

  • Perform basic administration of Marketo’s SFDC instance including object and field definition, structure, documentation, long range requirements, operational guidelines, protection and licensing
  • Responsible for reliability of master data maintained on the platform
  • Formulate and monitor policies, procedures and standards relating to all platform usage and performance
  • Responsible for ongoing support requests and administrative needs of users
  • Define dashboards and processes to continuously monitor service quality, integrity and performance.
  • Direct and enforces security controls for all levels of security

Project Team Role

  • Define Technical Requirements and Technical Design
  • Ensure the development team adheres to the coding best practices
  • Review and sign-off on all technical deliverable

Required Skills

  • Completion of Dev 401 and ADM 201
  • Designing, configuring and customizing Salesforce.com CRM
  • Developing on the force.com applications using Visualforce, the Apex programming language and JavaScript
  • Hands-on knowledge and experience of Salesforce.com applications, APIs, and Force.com platform security
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated experience in unit testing and debugging techniques
  • Salesforce deployment using change sets and ANT
  • Development – Apex, SQL, SOQL utilizing Eclipse and/or Mavensmate
  • Integration with third party apps and legacy systems such as Intacct

Desired Experience

  • Multiple implementations and projects
  • Development experience in an object-oriented language such as Java or C#
  • Hands-on experience using Process Builder
  • Lightning experience

Education Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
  • Salesforce.com Developer Certification

Experience

  • 4 Years of experience in Force.com environments
