A full-time Clinical Team Leader position is available with Liberty and the Indiana Sex Offender Management and Monitoring Program (IN SOMM Program).
The IN SOMM Program is an innovative program that invites collaboration between public and private sector groups across the state of Indiana with the goal of reducing sexual violence and sex offenses. The IN SOMM Program provides special treatment programming to adult and juvenile sex offenders committed to the Indiana Department of Correction. Additionally, the IN SOMM Program utilizes a Containment Model to provide maximum protection to the public while sex offenders are under parole supervision in the community.
The available Clinical Team Leader position is based at the Pendleton Juvenile Correctional Facility - located in Pendleton, Indiana - approximately 45 minutes northeast of downtown Indianapolis and 15 minutes east of Fishers via I-69.
The Clinical Team Leader is entrusted with supervising a small group of clinicians and providing behavioral health services to juvenile sex offenders at the Pendleton Juvenile Correctional Facility. Specific responsibilities of this position include:
- Providing individual and group counseling and psychoeducation to juvenile sex offenders
- Leading, managing and supervising a team of three licensed and unlicensed clinicians
- Taking a leadership role in staff meetings, case conferences, peer review and training activities
- Assessing, evaluating and monitoring program participants for symptoms of mental disorders, substance abuse, psychosexual problems, behavioral problems and progress within and completion of the program
- Writing various reports related to program participants, services rendered, utilization statistics, etc.
- Collaborating with the IN SOMM Program’s Executive Director, Clinical Director and various other stakeholders
