Octo Consulting Group is seeking a Senior Recruiter to join our team in the Reston area. The ideal candidate will have experience recruiting technical candidates in the Federal Civilian community. The individual will be responsible for managing the delivery of full life cycle recruiting for both direct work and new business development proposals. Successful candidates should have experience recruiting the following skills sets: Agile/Scrum, Systems Engineering, Software Developers, IT/Systems Analysts, Solutions Architect, Acquisitions and Financial Analyst, Records Specialists, IT/Systems and Financial Management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads and building a network of highly technical candidates, identifying candidates for direct opportunities, interviewing and negotiating offers. The candidate will also be responsible for working with internal clients on market trends, competitive intelligence, and recruiting strategies to build a pipeline of highly qualified candidates. Candidate should have a strong knowledge and pipeline of the DC, Maryland, and Virginia candidate markets.
Must have creative, versatile, effective, sourcing strategies and candidate sourcing skills;
Perform full life-cycle recruiting activities from initial job identification and posting, sourcing and screening, interviewing to offer negotiation;
Leverage recruiting resources and networking to identify candidates;
Have a strong understanding of technical requirements;
Partner with internal hiring managers to ensure awareness of all proposal activities, staffing plans and competitive landscape;
Work to ensure continual improvement of the recruiting strategies.
