Job Description

Due to an anticipated expansion of services and organizational growth, Liberty Healthcare of North Carolina is now hiring for a newly-created full-time “Training Program Coordinator” position.

Liberty Healthcare conducts assessments and needs-based eligibility determinations for North Carolinians who are applying for Medicaid-funded services. These assessments help individuals receive appropriate levels of home and community-based services.

The Training Program Coordinator will be responsible for development, updates and standardization of training presentations, website updates and maintaining consistent and accurate information within all Liberty manuals and training guidance. 

Specific responsibilities of this position will include:

  • Design and coordinate the drafting of all training materials to ensure consistency in formatting and communicating accurate information
  • Involved in the development of provider training programs to satisfy contractual requirements
  • Assures contract compliance by delivering quality services and meeting all contractual, legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to his/her role
  • Works collaboratively with website developer and Liberty leadership for content development, updates and system enhancements
  • Develops effective training materials utilizing a variety of media
  • Serves as backup to the QA/Training Coordinator for Liberty’s on-line electronic learning curriculum called RELIAS which includes assigning required curriculum, developing online training presentations, preparing notices to be sent to the employees and giving instructions to access the system
  • Proactively anticipates and prevents problems that could result in customer dissatisfaction or failure to deliver contracted services
  • Performs other duties as assigned

This position will be based in Liberty’s office located at 5540 Centerview Drive in Raleigh, NC. 

Skills/Requirements

You’re a good fit for this position if you possess these attributes:

  • Minimum of high school diploma; preferred working experience in adult learning 
  • Successful experience in developing professional training presentations 
  • Excellent computer skills 
  • Possesses good interpersonal and communication skills 
  • Strong orientation to customer service 
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Bilingual/multilingual a definite plus
