                The diversity of our operations has recently created an opportunity for a Distribution Center Section Leader located at our Enfield, CT Distribution Center. This position works in the Direct to Consumer area and the Section Leaders’ primary responsibility is to support the manager in achieving the goals for the department. This includes running the day to day functions of an area within the department, while encouraging the team to perform tasks with accuracy and efficiency, which includes training and motivating assigned staff members, implementation of established procedures, coordinating and supervising staff members. The working schedule for this position will be 9am - 7:30pm, Monday - Thursday.

 

Accountabilities:

  • Lead a Direct to Consumer team that picks, packs and gets orders ready for shipment while being hands on in the process yourself
  • Order supplies as needed for the department
  • Enforce safety rules and regulations
  • Work with the manager and other departments to ensure adequate staffing is maintained to meet the demands of the department
  • Work with the manager to plan and organize work for the department
  • Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule
  • Create a workplace that fosters credibility, respect, fairness, camaraderie, and pride to retain talent and drive for business results
