Job Description

                The diversity of our operations has recently created an opportunity for an IT PMO Director located at our Enfield, CT location.  The Director, IT Project Management Office (PMO) directs and oversees project management activities within IT to ensure the portfolio of programs and projects meets organizational goals and requirements.  

 

 

Accountabilities:

  • Strategically partners with Enterprise PMO to align short, medium, and long-term enterprise objectives with the current and future-year IT project and investment portfolio
  • Develops and implements PMO processes and policies, directs project management staff, and works with other department leaders to define, prioritize, and develop projects and programs
  • Ensures consistent application of project management standards, tools, and best practices, serving as a project management subject matter expert within IT and the larger Brooks Brothers team
  •  Enables increased visibility into IT project cost, schedule, scope, and quality trends and performance through timely generation of portfolio key performance indicators
  • Manages high-impact application development projects as needed

 

 

 


 
Skills/Requirements

Preferred Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum 10 years IT project management experience required, with at least 3 years of portfolio/program management experience managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Minimum 5 years managing teams in matrix-type project environment
  • Proficiency in managing projects using commercially-available portfolio and project management (PPM) tools (e.g. Microsoft PPM, Microsoft Project, Clarity/CA PPM,  Jira, etc.)
  • Experience with creating and delivering executive-level presentations to corporate management
  • Project management professional (PMP) certification
