Responsibilities/Duties
Leadership
Lead the projects rather than manage the projects
Content QA
Accountability and ownership for reviewing assigned content across all product types, ensure content gets released as per plan.
Review content against the specified standards and guidelines resulting in generating valid edits
Collect and document evidence of product performance as part of the review process against the product specifications
Complete tasks to schedule and real time maintenance and updates of status/trackers.
Respond and resolve CDP issues with a sense of urgency.
Ensure weekly, monthly, quarterly targets are met and to highlight any risks to Team Lead
Ensure all standards are met with regards to the version control mechanisms in place
Prepare edit logs and reports of reviews that indicate error types created by development team.
Resolving, chasing and escalating issues when the artefacts/assets are not kept up to date or dates are at risk. Proactively report and solve/escalate issues that arise from time to time.
Identify recurring issues in the content produced by the project teams and recommend corrective and preventive measures
Communication
Communicate clearly in emails with CDP
Ability to listen, to be clear and ensure you’re understood.
Effectively convey vision, ideas, goals, and issues—as well as produce data driven reports and presentations
Manage communications between Managers and project sponsors and empowering the teams to engage in meaningful and efficient debate of priorities and resource availability.
Contributes to the flow of communication within the team, by actively participating in team meetings and or troubleshoot between CDP/development team on queries as required.
Motivate the team members to action.
Coordinating with multiple team members locally and virtually; frequently for updates regarding the work in progress
Process
Recognize problems or situations that are new or without clear precedent. Evaluate alternatives and find solutions using a systematic, multi-step approach.
Consult with manager and relevant stakeholders on development tools, production and process issues
Suggesting and implementing improvements to procedures where appropriate.
Risk and Issues management
Recognize that risk and issues directly impact the likelihood of success and that risk and issues must be both formally and informally measured, reported proactively throughout the lifetime of the production.
Others
Compliance with company policies and procedures
May be required to work on once-off projects/initiatives or ongoing project work as required or other duties, responsibilities, and special projects as assigned from time to time
Prerequisites
Core Skills
Must have
2-5 years’ experience in a similar role or in the role of Quality Analyst would be preferred
Excellent written and verbal skills in English
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
Core Skills
Nice to have
Quality Assurance experience will be an advantage.
Demonstrated capability for problem solving, decision making, sound judgment, assertiveness
Experience of working in mass content production, eLearning, dead-line oriented environment will be an advantage
