Job Description


Position Title                           Project Manager

Team                                        Custom Solutions

Key Accountabilities


  • Oversee development and delivery of custom solutions to the client.

  • Coordinate and manage the resources required for delivery of custom solutions.

  • Interface with key groups in Custom Solutions and other Skillsoft business units as required.

  • Maintain appropriate documentation, including status reports at the VP level.

  • Interact effectively with internal and external partners/clients in a consultative/support fashion.

  • Conduct projects in alignment with the overall business objectives of the company.

  • Experience with project scheduling tools.

  • Microsoft Office Suite – Project, PPT, Word, Excel, etc.

  • Familiarity with all internet technologies and concepts.

  • Familiarity with most common operating systems and network implementations.

  • Experience with media design tools and formats - ex. Adobe products, video etc.

  • Familiarity with courseware authoring tools and platforms - ex. Articulate Storyline, Captivate, etc.


Requested Education


Degree in Instructional Design, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience required.


Requested Experience


This position requires a minimum of 3 years experience developing, managing, and implementing computer-based training.  The candidate should have demonstrated expertise in instructional design, curriculum development, and corporate level learning technologies and solutions.  The successful applicant will have prior experience with customer service, project management, and a focus on delivering solutions.
