We are looking for Cashiers to join our team! 

Founded by CEO Danny Meyer with the opening of Union Square Cafe in 1985, Union Square Hospitality Group has created some of New York’s most beloved restaurants, cafes, and bars such as Gramercy Tavern, Maialino, The Modern, Manhatta and Porchlight to name a few!

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a part of the team to maintain the high standards
  • Ability to handle all cash, credit and debit transactions
  • Ensure constant communication with staff members, management and kitchen at all times during service

  • Exhibit accurate and effective use of time and attendance portals and procedure
  • Accurately identify table and position numbers and be able to have awareness at all times
  • Practice and refine the use of Enlightened Salesmanship when interacting with guests
  • Demonstrate speed and accuracy when using the POS system during service
  • Must be able to stand, reach with arms and hands, bend and stoop, kneel and crouch more than 50% of the time
  • Lifting requirements range from being able to lift between 10 and 50 lbs more than 50% of the time
