POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated individual to join our team as an Aircraft Detailer & Groundskeeping professional. This is a dual role responsible for ensuring the pristine condition of our aircraft and maintaining the cleanliness and order of our hangars. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and responsible, can work independently in an unsupervised environment, has strong attention to detail, and is committed to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and safety.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform visual inspections of aircraft to identify key areas that require cleaning and create cleaning schedules based around flight schedules and aircraft availability.
• Perform comprehensive interior and exterior cleaning and detailing of aircraft.
• Ensure all cleaning materials and equipment are used and stored properly and safely.
• Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Perform janitorial tasks throughout the hangars including cleaning office spaces, break rooms, restrooms and other areas as necessary.
• Perform light groundskeeping duties and ensure general tidiness of the immediate hangar perimeters.
• Report any found aircraft or building maintenance issues to management.
• MISCELLANEOUS DUTIES: Will be required to perform other duties at the direction of Flight Department Management.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals and equipment properly.
• Ability to operate equipment such as floor scrubber, scissor lift, forklift, and tractor (training will be provided).
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders and stand, bend, crouch, and stretch for prolonged periods of time.
• A basic understanding of airport/aviation safety and security procedures is a plus.
