Job Description

The role of Project Executive (PX) is the cornerstone of IMC’s project delivery process.  It is designed to tie together all aspects of service to our customer throughout the life of the project.  Simply stated, the PX brings together the vast resources of the IMC organization and ensures that they are properly utilized and coordinated to meet the unique goals established for success for each project under their watch.

A PX will be assigned to all projects consistent with IMC’s organizational structure. Projects would be assigned as soon as they are identified in the pursuit stage.  The PX has overall responsibility for winning the work, contracting the project, setting the project up for success in the preconstruction phase and, of course, executing the work during construction.  The PX has overall responsibility for customer satisfaction and relationship management of our customers and complimentary service providers.

During the early stages of the project, the PX will collaborate heavily and share authority with business development (project pursuit) and preconstruction/estimating during the preconstruction phase.  As the project moves into production, the PX will assume direct authority over all operations.  While PX has overall authority to direct the project and project team toward success, the PX is expected to exercise sound judgement in seeking counsel when a situation warrants.
