Job Description
JEVS is one of the largest non-profits in the Philadelphia area.  
 
We are looking for dedicated, compassionate individuals to join the JEVS Team.

 

We are hiring for PART-TIME Direct Care Workers – $16.35 per hour!

No experience? Don't worry! We offer paid training!
 
Job Overview:
  • Work in a home with up to three adults with disabilities.
  • Help individuals with disabilities with daily life, including cleaning, feeding, and shopping.
  • Take individuals to community events, including volunteer opportunities.
 
 
 
Some of the obstacles of working in Direct Care
  • Unpredictability is part of each day when providing care for those we support.
  • Our homes are 24/7, which means that weekends and holidays will be part of scheduling.
  • While contributing to the success of the lives of those that we support, it can sometimes be taxing on our own bodies and minds.
Skills & Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Valid driver’s license is a must

The base pay for this position is $16.35 per hour!. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
