Job Description
JEVS Human Services is looking for an intern for the Summer semester to join our Human Resources team.  JEVS Human Services is a large non-profit organization; our programs are designed to help individuals have a better quality of life. We serve those with disabilities and people facing tough socio-economic conditions. We believe everyone deserves hope.
 
 
Responsibilities will include:
  • Support the recruiting, hiring, and onboarding efforts at JEVS Human Services
  • Review and screen applications submitted for assigned job openings; actively source candidates as needed
  • Assist with phone interviews when appropriate; provide information to candidates
  • Coordinate with Hiring Manager(s) and HR Manager to schedule interviews and interview-related events
  • Utilize ATS to track candidates through the hiring process; maintain record of information relating to a candidates Status & Stage in the hiring cycle
  • Assist with candidate management tasks including sending and following up on pre-employment testing, sending offer letters, dispositioning candidates, etc.
Skills & Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 3.0 GPA or higher highly preferred
  • Must have a strong desire to learn about HR
  • Excellent interpersonal skills required; must have a good phone presence
  • Must be detail oriented and self motivated

 

This position will start during the Summer 2025 season and will be hybrid.
