JEVS Human Services is growing and is currently seeking a detail oriented, resourceful and compassionate individual to join the team as a Community Integration Specialist. In this role you will be responsible for helping individuals transition between services and adapt to life changes.
This role is located on-site in our Northeast Philadelpia office.
Job Duties:
- Support the individuals connection with friends and their inclusion in the community of their choice.
- Teach skills to help individuals use community resources and interact socially with others.
- Build collaborative, professional relationships with the individual and others on the support team.
- Work in partnership with the individual to track progress toward goals and adjust services as needed and desired by individual.
- Monitor the individual’s physical and emotional health
- Identify risk and behaviors that can lead to a crisis and use effective strategies to prevent or intervene in the crisis in collaboration with others.
- Take the lead role with a network of current individuals and work with new and developing relationships to increase the volunteer opportunities and social activities in the community.
- Two years of college course work in psychology, education, social work, or other appropriate field required; appropriate experience may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree. Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2+ years' experience in a related field required
THIS POSITION IS 30 HOURS/WEEK: MONDAY-FRIDAY 8AM-2PM

The base pay for this position is $16.71 hourly. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
