Community Integration Specialist (30 hours/week)

Job Description

JEVS is currently seeking a Community Integration Specialist.  In this role you will be responsible for helping individuals transition between services and adapt to life changes.

This role is located on-site in our Northeast Philadelphia office. This position is part time. 30 hours per week, 

 

Job Duties:

  • Support the individual's connection with friends and their community.

  • Teach skills to help use community resources and interact with others.

  • Build relationships with the individual and the team.

  • Work to track progress toward goals and adjust services as needed/desired.

  • Track the individual’s physical and emotional health

  • Identify risks and behaviors that can lead to a crisis and prevent or intervene in the crisis.

  • Work to increase volunteer opportunities and social activities in the community.

Skills & Requirements
  • Two years of college course work required
  • 2+ years' experience in a related field required

THIS POSITION IS 30 HOURS/WEEK: MONDAY-FRIDAY 8AM-2PM

The base pay for this position is $15.97 hourly. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
