The Operations Coordinator will support the Vice President (VP) of Home Care to manage and successfully implement JEVS’ role as Financial Management Service for Self-Directed Care and the FMS program management team to manage and successfully implement JEVS’ role as fiscal agent and intermediary for participants directing their own personal attendant care.
This role is hybrid, at least 3 days onsite (at Ashton Road or equivalent office) required weekly.
Job Duties:
- Provide administrative and operational support for the overall operation for FMS. This includes but is not limited to:
- Assist with the development, implementation, and training of tools, guides, policies, and procedures FMS client and Caregivers.
- Serve as a liaison to external partners including funders ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent responses on behalf of FMS programming.
- Manage special projects through completion.
- Work with JEVS Communications team to create and maintain communication tools.
- Collaborate and onboard new staff to customer service supports to troubleshoot client and caregiver to ensure responsiveness.
- Attend internal program, divisional, organization-wide, and other team related meetings to ensure regular communication and coordination within JEVS whenever needed.
- Key Point of contact for new referrals and authorization renewals with funders include Managed Care Organizations and Medicaid Office.
- Leads in the development of developing a system with input from key internal and externa stakeholders to manage authorizations, new referrals, and storage solutions.
- Coordinates with FMS Quality Assurance payroll, and records management staff regarding investigation of payroll discrepancies, disputes, and fraud investigations and assists in pertinent data mining.
- Supports with training, leading on activities to support staff in operations, and providing regular feedback to Vice-President.
Qualifications:
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
- Preferred Experience working in Home Care, with The Office of Long-Term Living, elderly, and/or disabled population helpful.
- Understanding of database management such as Pavillio, HHAx or other CRM software.
- Excellent project management skills managing complex, multifaceted projects resulting in measurable successes and program growth.
- Successfully passing background checks (PA State Criminal, PA Department of Public Welfare Child Abuse, U.S. Department of Justice National Sex Offender Registry, and F.B.I. fingerprinting)
- May require sitting, standing, or walking on a level surface for periods throughout the day. May require lifting to 20 pounds.
- Regional travel up to 25% required to JEVS locations, conferences, and/or other related functions in the State of Delaware, as needed.

The base salary for this position ranges from $50,000 - $53,000. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
