JEVS Human Services currently has an exciting opportunity within Orleans Technical College (OTC) as an Administrative Assistant. Orleans Technical College helps students from all walks of life move toward one common goal: learning new skills to enhance their success in the workforce.
This position is Monday-Friday, 20 hours per week.
Responsibilities :
- Operate Student Food Pantry during pantry hours. Track and maintain food inventory and distributions. Set-up, restock and ensure pantry is clean & presentable. Provide assistance with program reports as needed. Order food for delivery and pick up to maintain inventory.
- Prepare Employee Change Management Portal Forms
- Prepare Net Promoter and Customer Satisfaction Summary Reports, quarterly
- Prepare training materials, complete data entry and record keeping for Orleans’ customized training offerings
- Assembles and maintains on-site faculty personnel files to include all paperwork required for licensing and accrediting bodies
- Provide back-up support as needed (via cross training) to all aspects of the clerical team including, but not limited to, admissions desk coverage, recording attendance, grades, scanning documents
- Sort, scan, index, and route student documents into Orleans’ electronic file management system, Perceptive Content
- Perform other administrative and clerical duties as needed
Skills and Requirements:

High School diploma
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience working with institutional databases helpful
- Some knowledge of KRONOS time management software helpful

The base pay for this position is $21/hr. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
