We are currently hiring for a Career Resource Center Coordinator to join our CareerLink team.
This position is on-site at our Suburban Station location.
The PA CareerLink in Philadelphia helps individuals prepare for and find work. We provide no-cost services that help individuals successfully enter or re-enter the local workforce.
Responsibilities:
- Guide all customers into the CRC or to the appropriate service(s) with a welcoming demeanor.
- Greet, answer questions and disseminate information to all participants in the Career Resource Center.
- Assist with PA CareerLink registration and ensure participants are completely enrolled, have a viable resume/job preferences completed.
- Assist with directing/navigating participants to job application site.
- Monitor the use of the computers by visually observing participant’s usage and ensure that computers are being used for job search activities ONLY.
- Have a general understanding of PA CareerLink services and the No Wrong Door model.
- Be proactive with suggestions to Job Developers when a good job match is probable.
- Assist participants with clerical tasks such as copying and faxing job related and unemployment compensation materials
- Other related duties as assigned.
- Associate’s Degree or a minimum of 2 years of human service; case management; customer service/sales and support; vocational or related fields.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to independently problem-solve and de-escalate situations.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (especially MS Word and Excel); PA Careerlink & CWDS a plus.
- Adhere to JEVS Core Principles

The base pay for this position ranges from $44,000 to $48,500 and will vary based on factors such as skills and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
