Edu-Connect is hiring for a
Program Manager.
Responsibilities:
Day to Day Operations
• Maintains new and existing partnerships with local high schools, community-based organizations, and other referral networks to strengthen student recruitment pipelines and increase access to programs for disadvantaged and non-traditional students in the region.
• Serves as liaison between Edu-Connect and school/organization point of contact to ensure smooth course delivery
• Orders, inventories, and distributes supplies for classes
Finance & Grant Operations
• Identifies and supports funding opportunities that advance program sustainability and growth, including researching opportunities and contributing to funding applications
• Assists with developing and monitoring program budgets, including tracking projected and actual revenue and expenses.
• Processes and tracks invoices and other financial documentation to maintain accurate financial records.
• Supports with grant report writing, monitoring grant outcomes, and presenting to grant funders as needed
Student Success Operations
• Supports with recruitment, interviewing, and screening of participants
• Coordinates and supports student credentialing, externships placements and student job placement activities including tracking progress and addressing barriers to completion and placement
• Develops and implements student coaching plans with onboarding and retention strategies
• Develops customized academic intervention efforts as needed; works with instructors to develop plan for tutoring and re-testing
Requirements:
• Candidates should exhibit knowledge, insights, and skills typically reflected by a
minimum of 2 years of project management experience in the fields of education or social
services.
• Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and collaborate with a variety of customers
including out-of-school youth, employers and partner agencies.
• Effective communication/public speaking skills, and the ability to connect quickly and
authentically with people from a variety of different professional and cultural
backgrounds
• Proficient in MS Office applications (especially MS Word and Excel). Willingness to
learn JEVS specific databases.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule
• Can lift moderately heavy boxes of supplies as needed
• Access to reliable transportation necessary and willingness to travel to various sites
across the city as needed

The base pay for this position ranges from $58,000 to $69,000 and will vary based on factors such as skills and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
