JEVS Human Services has an exciting opportunity to join the team at our Orleans Technical College as a HVAC Instructor. The Instructor will be responsible for teaching students through hands-on projects and theory in safety, math, and other basics of air conditioning refrigeration and heating.
This position is full time. Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 3:10 pm.
Responsibilities:

Provide instruction, as specified in the curriculum, in the basics of air conditioning refrigeration and heating

Supervise students in hands-on trades tasks

Provide testing of students’ knowledge of theory

Prepare curricula materials

Utilize varying delivery methods and media to keep students engaged with the lesson for the full class day.

Maintain student attendance and grade rosters
Qualifications:

3+ years of related work experience

The base pay for this position is $30/hr. and will vary based on factors such as skills and experience. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
