POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Senior Manager of Global Partnerships is responsible for supporting new business efforts, with a focus on multi-property sponsorships across the HBSE Portfolio (Philadelphia 76ers, NJ Devils/Prudential Center, Joe Gibbs Racing, Crystal Palace FC, Washington Commanders and more). This individual will be tasked with prospecting key categories, providing sales + activation support for potential and current global partners, interfacing with key departments across HBSE, and administrative tasks as needed.
The candidate selected into this key role will have a proven track record in supporting a successful partnership team(s) and should have a deep knowledge of the Sports + Entertainment industry with core competencies exercised in the sponsorship realm. This position will report directly to the Vice President of Global Partnerships.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED, TO THE BELOW:
- Renowned solution selling pedigree, developing customized and targeted sales and marketing plans, proposals and presentations in furtherance of HBSE’s strategies for optimizing revenue and profitability through enhanced corporate sponsorships and other relationships.
- Ability to synergize the efforts of individuals and teams from multiple business units to accomplish the goals of the company.
- Project/event based P&L responsibility.
- Ability to develop and deliver new tools, models and KPIs (including research and data tools) to focus, drive and monitor commercial activities.
- Strong leadership, commercial, organizational, project management and analytical skills.
- High energy, excellent communicator, engaging, entrepreneurial and has a roll-up-sleeves mentality.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of Partnership Sales/Sales Support in Sports + Entertainment
- Expertise in developing and implementing event-based commercial and revenue strategies
- Known throughout the industry for their poise and professionalism when interacting with internal and external contacts
- High level of organization and experience managing sales pipeline
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Travel Requirements: May be required to travel on a TBD basis (< 15%); trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay.
- Work Environment: This position generally requires that work be performed from the 76ers office in Camden, NJ but attendance at events taking place at HBSE’s various offices or other offsite locations, including on evenings, weekends, and/or holidays, may be required.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift/move items up to 10 pounds.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $75,000 and $87,500/year. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
This position will be an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
