Nammo Perry is a center of excellence for the design, development and production of munitions and pyrotechnic products for the U.S. Department of Defense. Nammo employees working at the Florida site manufacture all types of 40mm low and high velocity ammunition; pyrotechnic marking; signaling and tactical illumination devices; battlefield effects training simulators; demolition charges; hand grenade fuzes; and other ammunition components. Additionally, they provide load, assemble, and pack (LAP) services for large caliber direct-fire ammunition.

The HVAC Supervisor will provide advanced knowledge of HVAC elements required to perform daily facility tasks. These tasks include, but are not limited to PMs, work orders, and HVAC related projects. Will require working with on-site equipment and vehicles.

What You’ll Do: Precision in Action

• Supervise, schedule, and mentor a team of residential HVAC technicians and installers.
• Coordinate preventative maintenance schedule for all plant HVAC systems.
• Assist tool crib in identifying and stocking/ordering plant critical parts.
• Responsible for installation of new HAVC systems including install of commercial systems that may require contractor assisted installation.
• Responsible for production down calls related to HVAC systems. This includes troubleshooting advanced commercial systems with logic controls.
• Coordinate implementation of temperature and humidity monitoring plantwide.
• Partner with safety department to obtain green tag when necessary.
• Enforce OSHA safety standards and ensure correct EPA refrigerant handling protocols are followed by all staff.
• Use maintenance CMMS system to access PM/work orders and close out PM/work orders with properly documented time and notes.
• Able to perform other duties as assigned.

What Dedicated Teammates Bring

• 10 Years of experience in HVAC industry.  5 Years of experience supervising HVAC technicians
• Universal EPA certifications and Airflow Certifications preferred
• Able to identify energy sources on equipment and use lockout tagout to properly isolate equipment.
• Able to identify when a hot-work permit is needed and coordinate with safety department to obtain a permit.
• Able to assess a job and identify the proper tools necessary to complete the job.
• Able to procure material as needed for project work.
• Able to troubleshoot HVAC related issues.
• Ability to manage contractor work on occasion.
• Able to resolve issues on their own with limited supervision.
• Have a safe work record.
• Able to operate forklift and pass onsite forklift training.
• Able to assist on PM’s and Parts changing as needed.
• Able to adequately complete plant PM’s as necessary.
• Able to follow all plant safety policy and have a safe work record.
• Have good interpersonal skills.
