JOB SUMMARY

The Set-Up Technician will be responsible for set-up, maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of the machines in the bullet department. Which produce components and assembled products. This position is only for experienced machine operators or set-up technicians who can start operating machines with little training (beyond learning what is specific to our process).

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Must be able to read and follow written and verbal instructions.

·         Will be expected to operate and maintain machine output levels.

·         Maintain daily logs.

·         Accurately identify material and or product.

·         Use inspection tools to perform product and tooling measurements.

·         Adjust the machines as needed to meet quality and output requirements.

·         Communicate with shift supervisor on nonconformance issues and general discussion.

·         Trouble shoot and diagnose machine issues.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
