Job Summary
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading all warehouse, logistics, inventory control, shipping, receiving, and facility operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant execution of daily business activities. This position oversees warehouse personnel, manages operational performance metrics, ensures inventory accuracy, coordinates domestic and international shipments, maintains facility and equipment readiness, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to achieve customer service, quality, productivity, safety, and cost objectives.
Primary Responsibilities

Plan, develop, and implement warehouse procedures, systems, and workflows to maximize operational efficiency, productivity, and achievement of KPI goals.

Lead warehouse personnel management, including recruitment, hiring, onboarding, coaching, scheduling, performance management, and utilization of temporary staffing resources
|
|
3.
|
Manage workforce planning and daily operations by adjusting staffing levels and workflow priorities to meet customer demands, shipping schedules, and business requirements.
|
|
4.
|
Monitor and direct warehouse operations to ensure productivity, inventory accuracy, quality standards, and customer service objectives are consistently achieved
|
|
5.
|
Manage domestic and international logistics activities, including carrier selection, freight quotations, rate negotiations, customs documentation, regulatory filings, shipping instructions, shipment tracking, freight program administration, and invoice auditing.
|
|
6.
|
Ensure compliance with all applicable transportation, storage, safety, and regulatory requirements, including Dangerous Goods, Hazardous Materials, Limited Quantity products, OSHA requirements, and company policies.
|
|
7.
|
Partner with HESS to promote and maintain a safe workplace by implementing, monitoring, and enforcing safety standards, procedures, and best practices.
|
|
8.
|
Coordinate employee training, certifications, and recertifications, including OSHA, hazardous materials, equipment operation, CPR/First Aid, and other required safety and compliance programs.
|
|
9.
|
Manage facility, equipment, property, and grounds maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance, inspections, certifications, utilities, building repairs, vendor management, landscaping, snow removal, and maintenance of warehouse equipment and safety systems.
|
|
10.
|
Serve as the primary site security contact, maintaining security plans, monitoring access controls, and supporting facility security initiatives.
|
|
11.
|
Maintain operational records and reporting related to warehouse performance, safety, training, equipment maintenance, inventory accuracy, compliance, and other key business metrics.
|
|
12.
|
Work with customers, carriers, and internal departments to resolve logistics, shipping, inventory, and customer service issues.
|
|
13.
|
Lead sustainability and recycling initiatives that support company environmental goals and operational efficiency.
|
|
14.
|
Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

· 10+ years of experience in Logistics Management.
· 5+ years of experience with Supply Chain, Process/Initiative Management.
· Demonstrated experience in all aspects of Supplier Relationship Management.
· Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
· Valid driver’s license.
· MS Office proficiency.
