Pay Range: $27 - 28 per hour

Schedule: Full-time; 100% in-person and on-site, Monday - Friday 9 am - 6 pm

What You'll Own - Essential Responsibilities

  •  Financial Operations
    •  Manage property invoices, accounts payable, resident account activity, deposits, and related financial documentation across assigned communities.
    • Support month-end processes, including deposit accounting, receivable aging, write-offs, security deposit activity, expiring leases, and financial variances.
    • Review financial information for accuracy and resolve discrepancies in partnership with accounting and other cross-functional teams.
    • Maintain accurate financial and resident records in accordance with company policies and deadlines.
  • Resident Experience
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for resident calls, emails, account questions, lease inquiries, and community-related needs.
    • Maintain strong knowledge of each community, including policies, amenities, services, and property-specific information.
    • Resolve resident questions and concerns while providing timely follow-up and a consistent resident experience.
    • Execute resident events and initiatives across assigned communities and provide recommendations to enhance resident satisfaction and engagement.
  • Leasing & Community Operations
    • Respond to prospect inquiries and provide knowledgeable guidance on assigned communities, availability, amenities, pricing, and leasing options.
    • Travel to assigned communities to conduct tours, support leasing activity, and address operational needs. When onsite, inspect the property to ensure Peerless Presentation, report service needs, and inspect move-outs and vacancies as requested.
    • Maintain accurate resident, lease, and property documentation while managing competing priorities across multiple communities.
    • Partner closely with the District General Manager, Maintenance, Accounting, and other cross-functional teams to support community operations.
  • General
    •  Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs.

What You'll Bring 

  • Experience in multifamily property management, resident services, leasing, or a related customer service environment.
  • Knowledge of accounts payable, resident accounts, month-end processes, and leasing operations.
  • Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, decision-making, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to de-escalate conflict and resolve concerns in a pragmatic manner consistent with Thrive’s Values.
  • Ability to independently manage competing priorities, maintain detailed knowledge of multiple communities, and travel to assigned properties as needed.
  • Experience with Yardi, CRM, OnSite, or similar property management software and a CALP designation are a plus.
  • Affordable housing experience (ex: LIHTC, MFTE, ARCH) as it relates to the programs the property participates in.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:

  • 100% in-person position. Must be available to be physically present at sites being supported.
  • Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods depending on the needs of the day, including providing walking tours to prospects.
  • Frequently use a computer, keyboard, phone, and other office equipment.
  • Occasionally bend, stoop, squat, climb stairs, push, pull, and reach overhead.
  • Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds.
  • Work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Regularly interact with various backgrounds, diverse groups, socio-economic groups, and personality types, requiring a high level of emotional intelligence and judgement.
  • Travel between communities, main offices, and other work locations as required.

Background Check & Drug Screen Policy

Thrive Communities conducts background checks and drug screens for onsite property associates after the conditional offer of employment is accepted, in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
