Office Manager

We are looking for an OFFICE MANAGER to join our Midlothian, TX team. As an Office Manager with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials, you will act as the central administrative hub for both the Plant Management System and Human Resources departments in a manufacturing environment.

About the Role 

• Human Resources Support:  

• Acts as the primary facility liaison for HR and Benefits.  

• Administers employee records, including attendance and timekeeping, hiring/termination data, and disciplinary actions.  

• Assist with job postings, candidate screening, and the overall hiring process.  This role coordinates interviews and the onboarding process.  

• Ensure compliance with policies/procedures as well as state and federal reporting.   

• Support the administrative portion of investigations and employee/labor relations activities. 

• Support Leaders with personnel change forms, termination checklists, employee data validation and ensuring consistency. 

• Document Control: Manage the lifecycle of critical reporting documents. This includes drafting reports, processing revision requests, maintaining master files, and ensuring all systems comply with audit standards.  

• Executive & Site Administration: Provide confidential support to the Plant Manager, including calendar management, meeting preparation, attendance and follow up. Coordinate logistics for site visits, plant tours, travel plans, guest hospitality, and other activities as needed. 

• Data & Systems Management: Maintain accuracy across different reporting systems at the plant in compliance with Quikrete needs; consistency and timeliness are essential to success. Systems landscape includes Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Kronos Dimensions, ADP, Hirebridge, and Power BI. 

• Office Operations: Handle general duties such as screening visitors, answering calls, ordering supplies/meals, and supporting basic accounting functions.

About You 

Requirements 

• At least 2 years of general human resources practices and office management or administrative experience.  

• Software Expertise: Advanced Microsoft Office skills; familiarity with ERP/HRIS systems, ADP, Hirebridge, Kronos Dimensions and Power BI. 

• Meticulous Organization: Strict adherence to naming conventions and filing structures while maintaining accuracy and timeliness. 

• Discretion: Ability to handle highly confidential personnel and plant information.
