• Must be Licensed as an LVT in the state of North Carolina
• Full-Time, In-Person Position
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts as needed
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and over 50 lbs with assistance
• Frequent standing, bending, crouching, walking, lifting, carrying, and reaching
• Ability to work effectively in environments with noise, animal odors, and other sensory stimuli
• Ability to meet any position-specific screening requirements, such as a clinical acumen assessment
• Must be at least 18 years of age at time of hire
• Assist in the care and monitoring of Internal Medicine patients, including focusing on treating and managing complex diseases and conditions affecting the internal organs of animals dealing with a wide range of chronic and critical medical conditions that cannot be easily treated with routine procedures or medications
• Set up and monitor endoscopy procedures
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for patients, including treatment plans, progress notes, and any adverse reactions
• Collect diagnostic samples (blood, urine, biopsy, etc.) for testing and assist with diagnostic imaging procedures (X-rays, CT scans, Ultrasounds, etc.)
• Ensure that endoscopy and other Internal Medicine-related supplies are stocked and properly
maintained
• Ensure a clean environment in Internal Medicine and other treatment areas
