Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Coordinator, Partnership Solutions is responsible for the creation and development of turnkey and customized cross-platform partnership programs that support revenue generation and partner retention for the Philadelphia 76ers and ancillary associated properties. 

The Coordinator, Partnership Solutions will work closely with the heads of Corporate and Marketing Partnerships to help define the strategic sales plan.  The Coordinator will then become the project lead and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including, but not limited to, marketing, community, digital, social and content groups.  The Coordinator and team will be responsible for the creation of 76ers partnerships platforms for prospective partners (new business) and current partners (upsells and renewals) through: research (identify industry leaders, best practices, emerging technologies), platform development (idea generation, artist curation and proposal construction), internal vetting (Division approvals), creative presentations (create sales decks, collaborate with design team to bring vision to life) and inventory management. In addition, he/she will assist with game night hospitality responsibilities. 

The successful candidate can operate strategically, in the development of sales concepts and sellable marketing platform, along with showing tactical and technical expertise in the sales process.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED, TO THE BELOW:

  • Drive revenue and co-lead sales process for new business and renewals/upsells
  • Liaise with sales and account management teams to understand partner/prospect objectives and goals by participating in new business needs analysis, sales meetings, activation renewal discussions, etc.as needed
  • Organize and participate in multi-functional brainstorming sessions to develop fully integrated marketing platforms, new inventory and sellable platforms for sales pitches and client renewals/upsells
  • Conduct category and prospect research to identify sales opportunities, key insights, etc.
  • Proactively identify new assets and build creative turnkey platforms to generate new revenue opportunities, while becoming intimately familiar with designations and promotional rights
  • Ensure concepts can be efficiently activated by working closely with Activation, Marketing, Content and other appropriate departments
  • Project lead responsibilities include sales deck creation, deal memo and P&L’s for all new business and renewal/upsell opportunities
  • Manage available inventory, track sold inventory, deadlines, property assets, and designations
  • Collaborate with account management to develop case studies for various partner presentations to illustrate successful partnership stories
  • Assist with game night hospitality experience (including escorting VIPs and Corporate Partners, assisting with Banner Lounge and game day partner events, gifting, etc)
  • Manage and procure all requests for in-arena giveaways
    • Serve as lead point of contact for all item vendors (Coyote Promotions, BDA, RushOrderTees, American Marketing, Something Inked etc.)
  • Serve as team Merchandise Lead
    • Responsible for inventory management and sustainability of internal storage
    • Lead organization-wide merchandise procurement, inventory, and fulfillment
    • Responsible for inputting and managing NBA merchandise reporting
    • Serve as internal point-of-contact for quarterly Nike Ordering
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-3 years of Marketing Partnership experience preferably from a sports and entertainment entity
  • Experience with client relationships, understanding client needs and meeting deadlines
  • Understanding of team marketing platforms and process
  • Strong creative and innovative mindset with analytical skills
  • Highly detail-oriented and exercises solutions-focused approach
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working collaboratively across multiple departments
  • Able to work independently, as well as within a team
  • Capable of working on and managing multiple design projects at a given time and executing quickly
  • Positive attitude
  • Experience and passion for sports and/or entertainment preferred
  • Ability to work nights and weekends as needed

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Travel Requirements: May be required to travel on a TBD basis (< 10%), including between HBSE’s various offices; trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay.
  • Work Environment: This position generally requires that work be performed from the 76ers office in Camden, NJ but attendance at events taking place at the Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, PA or other offsite locations, including on evenings, weekends, and/or holidays, may be required.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift/move items up to 10 pounds

 

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $45,000 and $48,000/year.  This position is eligible for overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

The total compensation package for this position will also include other elements, including: eligibility for an annual team bonus. 

This position will be an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
