Training:

We invest in our leaders from day one. Managers participate in a hands-on training program designed to immerse you in every aspect of our operation. You’ll work side-by-side with talented culinary and service professionals, gaining real experience, building relationships, and developing the confidence to lead. Training location will be in Philadelphia, PA where the only Village Whiskey is currently operating.

 

Job Description:

The General Manager is responsible for the overall operational excellence of a single Village Whiskey restaurant including building sales and all other aspects of profit and loss, preparing financial projections, hiring and training and development of both management and hourly team members, daily execution of safety/sanitation, monitoring compliance with company, state, and federal regulations, quality food preparation and guest service. Responsible for cleanliness, repair and maintenance for the building equipment. The General Manager is responsible for communicating and administering all company policies and procedures as well as directing the recruitment, retention and development of all management and team members.

 

General Manager will be responsible for leading Training week to prepare for opening day, hiring BOH and FOH teams and coordinating operational needs for a successful opening.

 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years operations management experience.
  • Superior leadership, management and analytical skills with a proven ability to deliver exceptional operational performance.
  • Strong organization and time management skills needed to be able to help run a Training Week at a New Restaurant Opening. 
  • Ability to hire and schedule new employees for New Restaurant Opening. 
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
