Electronics Instructor (Part Time)

Job Description

Under the supervision of the Academic Affairs Director, the Electronics Instructor will be responsible for teaching students through hands-on projects and theory in safety, math, and other basics of electronics.

Responsibilities

  • Provide instruction in the basics of commercial electricity with emphasis on safety, mathematics, NEC 2020 code, electrical motors, controllers, and PLCs.
  • Supervise students in hands-on trades tasks
  • Provide evaluation of students’ on hands-on activities
  • Provide testing of students’ knowledge of theory; maintain student attendance and grade rosters
  • Prepare curriculum materials

 

This position is part time. Tuesdays and Wednesdays. 8:30AM-4:00PM. 

Pay is $35.00/hr. 

Skills & Requirements

  • 3+ years related work experience required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills

 

The base pay for this position will start at $35/hr. Base pay is one part of the Total Compensation that JEVS Human Services provides to recognize employees for their work.
