Job Summary:

As we expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled and dedicated Facility Maintenance Technician to join our team.
This role plays a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant environment for the cultivation and processing of cannabis products. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in facility maintenance (plumbing/electrical), with a focus on safety and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks; including plumbing, electrical, and general repairs.
- Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address maintenance needs promptly.
- Maintain and repair irrigation systems, lighting systems, and environmental control systems.
- Ensure the facility is compliant with all safety regulations and standards.
- Assist in the construction and renovation of cultivation and production areas.
- Work with contractors and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within
budget.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and infrastructure.
- Follow blueprints and construction plans as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including the safe handling of cannabis products
and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to cannabis cultivation and
facility maintenance.
- Participate in safety training and maintain a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with other team members, including cultivation and production staff, to ensure facility
needs are met.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and report any issues or concerns promptly.
- Local travel between locations may be required.
- Other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification is a plus.
• Proven experience in facility maintenance and construction.
• Knowledge of general maintenance systems. (ie: plumbing, construction).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
