Job Description

Charleston ENT & Allergy is seeking a Patient Access and Administrative Specialist to join our growing practice! This hybrid role will support both our Allergy Front Desk and Patient Communication Center on a set weekly schedule.

Location: Summerville Office
Hours: 7:45 AM – 4:45 PM

Schedule & Responsibilities

Patient Communication Center (Monday)

  • Answer incoming calls for the practice
  • Schedule patient appointments
  • Register new patients and update patient demographics as needed
  • Direct calls to the appropriate department
  • Assist with incoming referrals

Allergy Front Desk (Tuesday through Friday)

  • Check patients in and out for appointments
  • Schedule patient appointments
  • Collect patient payments
  • Respond to patient inquiries via phone, fax, or in person
  • Complete chart reviews for the following day’s cases
  • Manage patient charts, including filing, maintenance, and transfers to other offices
  • Verify and transmit schedules to transcription
  • Enter patient demographics into the system
  • Perform other duties as assigned
