Job Description

The salary range for this role is $156,000 - $200,000/year + Commission

Numerator is looking for a Sales Leader for our Enterprise CPG team. We are the unchallenged leader on single-source consumer data. Over the past several years, Numerator’s panel has become the currency by which consumer behavior is measured and understood by major brands, retailers, and the financial industry alike.

This role will lead a team of sellers for a large portion of the Enterprise CPG market in the US.. Additionally, you will manage and maintain relationships with clients as you expand sales throughout your region. We're looking for a strategic sales leader with deep knowledge and experience in the CPG industry who can navigate complex customer environments at the executive level, while working cross-functionally internally to ensure success.

Candidates can work remotely with frequent travel to Numerator offices and client locations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead a team of sellers to achieve their annual and customer growth goals
  • Engage with customers at the executive level, building relationships based upon trust, ROI, and delivery of unparalleled value
  • Work with your commercial colleagues and other internal functions such as consulting and finance to achieve team and company goals while delivering value for our customers
  • Be a key leader in a tremendously strong commercial organization that prides itself on teamwork and collaboration

Skills & Requirements
  • At least 5 years leading of proven success in leading an enterprise sales team
  • A minimum of 5 years of software sales or market research/survey experience, selling into the executive level at consumer products and retailers, in the functional areas of Brand Marketing, Market Research, Category Management, and/or Shopper & Consumer Insights
  • Hunter with enterprise SaaS software sales experience, with particular emphasis on building new relationships and opening new accounts and growing existing accounts.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a timely manner, including consecutively exceeding past sales quotas
  • Deep understanding of multiple facets of retailer, agency and consumer products with prior experience selling into marketing, shopper or consumer insights
  • Deep understanding of the sales process with the ability to engage senior-level executives in strategic meetings to ensure top-down alignment regarding strategy and objectives
  • Skilled at building and managing customer relationships, including stakeholder management
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation skills
  • Understanding of household panel data (NPD, Nielsen and/or IRI) is a plus
  • Understanding of the market research and survey industry is a plus
  • Microsoft Office expertise (Powerpoint, Excel, Word)
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (preferred) with 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Working knowledge of enterprise software applications and services designed for the retail and consumer goods industries is highly valued (e.g., NIQ, Circana, NPD, Dunnhumby)
  • Functional knowledge of Salesforce.com and its use for updating accounts, opportunities, and deal stages
  • Able to travel up to 40% for business purposes.
