POSITION OVERVIEW:
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Digital Content Associate is responsible for development and implement of engaging social media content for the Delaware Blue Coats across various platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok).
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE BELOW:
- Create and curate high-quality content, including text, images, and videos
- Monitor social media analytics and adjust strategies accordingly to maximize reach and engagement
- Design visually appealing graphics and social media posts
- Have a strong understanding of photography principles and techniques
- Assist with fulfilling internal marketing assets including signage, in-arena promotions, digital and content
- Ensure consistency with the organization's brand guidelines
- Assist with press releases, communications materials, and managing media members
- Assist with event planning and coordination
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong interpersonal skills and a solid track record in developing relationships
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with an attention to detail
- Strong problem solving and decision-making ability
- The ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Previous social media and content creating experience preferred
- Photography and video editing skills a plus
- Professional writing experience a plus
