Archery Specialists 

Full Job Description 

Malvern Day Camp (MDC) Archery Camp Specialist will create a positive, rewarding, and educational archery program and experience for all summer campers from ages 7-14. 

The hours of this full-time, seasonal position are from 8:15am-4:15pm, Monday through Friday. Malvern Day Camp runs from May 19th to late August 2025. There will be mandatory training dates before camp begins.

Responsibilities: 

 
  • Plan and execute archery lessons and games for campers ages 7-14. 

  • Properly store, maintain and care for archery equipment and program supplies 

  • Ensure the health and safety of campers under your care and supervision 

  • Upkeep of archery equipment 

  • Work effectively with co-workers including camp counselors 

  • Serve as a positive role model to campers 

  • Meet with supervisor regularly to plan weekly schedule of activities and ensure the schedule is followed 

  • Inventory and submit order requests for equipment and supplies when needed 

 

Requirements: 

 
  • Current Archery Certification 

  • Previous experience working with children. Examples include, but are not limited to: acting as a camp counselor, tutoring, youth volunteer, or classroom assistant 

  • Have experience in leading and teaching archery (preferred) 

  • Follow the Malvern Day Camp policies and procedures 

  • Minimum of 18 years of age
