Malvern Day Camp is a traditional day camp looking for a fun, qualified individual to join our team as a Camp Facilities Support. This is a seasonal position with some additional time requested before camp starts and after camp ends in order to assist with the set up and break down of camp equipment.
The hours of this full-time, seasonal position are from 8:00am-5:00pm*, Monday through Friday. Malvern Day Camp runs from May 19th to August 2025. There will be mandatory training dates before camp begins.
*Opportunities exist for additional compensation to work extended day program before or after regular camp hours.

General Responsibilities
-Clean and maintain program equipment, such as picnic tables, water coolers, bathrooms, locker rooms, etc.
-Ensure that buildings and grounds are kept clean.
-Maintain safety standards for all campers and staff.
-Notify Camp Director of issues related to grounds, supplies, and equipment.
-Track use of paper goods.
-Collect and remove garbage from the interior and exterior of camp facilities.
-Ensure that equipment is brought in from fields each day.
-Be able to assist campers and staff in an emergency.
-Attend all mandatory camp meetings and staff training events.
-Participate enthusiastically in all camp activities.
Requirements
-Light maintenance and janitorial skills experience (preferred)
-Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work independently
-Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
-Valid Driver’s License
-Minimum of 18 years’ old
Required upon hire
-Completed Background Checks (FBI, Child Abuse, Criminal, NSOR)
-Willingness to complete additional training (Mandated reporting, First Aid/CPR, Water Safety, etc.)
