The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plant operations, including production, quality control, supply chain management, and workforce development. This role requires strong leadership skills, a focus on safety and quality, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage plant operations, ensuring efficient production processes and high-quality standards.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize plant performance and achieve company goals.
- Monitor production schedules, inventory levels, and resource allocation to meet customer demands.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the workforce.
- Manage and mentor plant management team, fostering a collaborative and performance-driven environment.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and engineering teams to align production capabilities with market demands.
- Analyze production data and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance of the plant.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the concrete industry.
- Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and supply chain management.
- Proven leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data and drive decision-making for operational improvements.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and environmental compliance standards.
