Job Description

CellAntenna Wireless requires  experienced Cellular DAS System Integrator that can install and commission our distributed antenna systems throughout the USA.   You should have experience in the installation, commissioning, terminating, and standard procedures in coaxial and fiber cabling. The work involves 50% traveling, as well as the ability to work on both new construction and finished buildings.  

The responsibilities include:

A Cellular DAS Integrator is an experienced in successfully install, commission, and troubleshoot DAS systems (in-building distributed antenna systems)

The duties will include, but not limited to:

·Installing and commissioning DAS wireless equipment ·Installation of Outdoor and Indoor antennas, coaxial cable, CATV cable, fiber optic cable, CAT 5 cable, DC Power Cable, and other appropriate components to NEC standards.

·Terminating coaxial cable

·Fusion Splicing and Fiber OTDR Testing.

·Installation of DAS Headend to include DC Power Plant, Alarms, CPS, etc

· completing Sweep, PIM, and Fiber testing.

·Be vigilante of industry best practice application and continuous improvement mind-set

·Communicating and coordinating with customer and company related to specific safety, local code, and company installation requirements.

·Assisting in proposal development and project preparation activities.

·Completing constructability site surveys

·Mentoring and leading less experienced technicians.

·Completing job related documentation and record keeping.

·Completing signal readings using PCTEL or equivalent

·OSHA certifications are a plus

·Ability to operate or learn to operate onsite equipment like scissor lifts, boom lifts etc...

·Ability to understand QC Designs and BOMs

 

Skills & Requirements

General Skills & Requirements:

·       Must be experienced in Cellular System Commissioning for Cellular and Public Safety

·       Must be experienced in cable installation, including antennas, passive components.

·       Experience with operating Anritsu or similar Spectrum Analyzers

·       Computer knowledge 

·       Valid driver's license, and pass background screening

·       Must be in good physical shape

·       High school diploma

·       Has experience with hand tools.
