Responsibilities
- Develop work plans and man-hour budgets
- Monitor project schedules and capital cost budgets
- Prepare and review advanced engineering designs and technical data
- Ensure quality control and assurance for all projects
- Achieve goals for profit, productivity, and deliverables
- Formulate and coordinate proposals with Marketing and Business Development
- Identify project teams, work packages, tasks, and productivity targets
- Conduct team meetings to ensure adherence to project review and approval procedures
- Negotiate scope changes with clients, pending supervisor approval
- Communicate effectively with project team members to ensure high utilization rates
- Review monthly man-hour and cost reports to meet project goals
- Ensure compliance with project planning and profit control procedures
- Discuss scope revisions with clients affecting schedules or budgets
- Collaborate with Department Managers to resolve technical issues
- Work with the Billing Department to authorize and send bills and follow up on payments
- Mentor junior staff in technical and business practices
- Attend evening council or planning board meetings as needed
