Responsibilities
- Prepare work plans, schedules, and budgets for department approval
- Manage client relationships and contribute to business development
- Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure client satisfaction and productivity
- Oversee quality control for water and wastewater design projects
- Supervise project work and productivity
- Achieve targets for profit, productivity, and deliverable schedules
- Develop and execute engineering methods for water and wastewater designs
- Collaborate with consultants, agencies, communities, and contractors on project planning and permitting
- Prepare engineering calculations, plans, specifications, technical papers, and permit applications
- Lead planning and design of water supply, transmission, and distribution projects
- Create and review conceptual drawings and construction documents
- Conduct studies and prepare designs and contract documents for water infrastructure projects
- Review utility connection applications for municipal and utility clients
- Act as Client Manager when needed, managing client duties and developing new business
- Familiarity with SUE-type projects is a plus
