POSITIONS SUMMARY – Manager Supply Chain, EWS
Exterran Water Solutions has an immediate opening for a Manager Supply Chain, EWS with experience in sourcing, buying and materials management in Oil & Gas industry. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Manager Supply Chain, EWS is responsible for vendor identification, vendor qualification and contract negotiations, preparation of proposals (RFQs), technical/commercial bid evaluations and managing all procurement activities associated with EWS projects. In addition, the Manager Supply Chain is responsible for EWS Inventory Management and Logistics. He / She will also ensure that the deliverables provided to the project are according to specifications, within scope, and in compliance with quality requirements, budgets and project plans.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directs the Strategic Sourcing effort for Water Product Line; Develops and manages strategic partner relationships for Water Product Line, in conjunction with Global Supply Chain team; Directs the successful implementation of complete sourcing efforts; Implements all Vendor sourcing, prequalification, vendor management for Water Product Line needs Manage preparation of Material Requisitions and RFQ documents Manage Technical and Commercial Bid Evaluations; recommend awards Prepare purchase orders and contracts Negotiate favourable Terms and Conditions with vendors in conjunction with purchasing policies Ensure vendor quality with material inspections by Exterran Quality or TPI as required by project quality requirements Manage all procurement activities to ensure project objectives of quality, cost and schedule are met Define key supply chain KPI’s to add value to operations Inventory Management o Directs product line inventory control initiatives, including physical inventory audits o Directs the efforts associated with determining obsolete inventory; o Directs the management of item master activities; o Supports establishing inventory levels by studying supply usage patterns and forecasts; supports setting reorder points in partnership with operations personnel; o Directs the oversight of inventory accuracy through continued analysis, metrics and driving methodical process improvements; o Directs compliance with Inventory Management Procedures and SOX Compliance; o Ensures that staff is properly trained
Logistics o Collaborate with Global Logistics team to establish transportation partners to meet Product Line regional and global needs in most cost effective manner o Directs the tactical management of all international shipments and inbound freight; o Directs the efforts associated with compiling and analyzing pricing, technical, statistical and other information; along with the development of service metrics and scorecards. Information Systems & Analysis o Directs the analytical support for all Product Line supply chain initiatives and continuous improvement projects, in collaboration with Corporate Supply Chain team o Directs the implementation and continuous improvement of the Oracle Cloud Supply Chain modules for Water Product Line
QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE - SKILLS
Experience in Strategic Sourcing. Experience in supplier negotiations. Experience in contract management techniques. Experience in Logistics. Experience in Inventory Management. Experience with ERP systems (Oracle). Strong analytical skills. Excellent Communication skills. Ability to influence without direct authority.
Strong MS Office skills with Excel, Power Point, and Word. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where limited standardization exists. Proactively identifies and recommends areas for process improvement within the organization Strong verbal, interpersonal and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines Results Oriented Excels in a Team Environment
Preferred Education/Experience: Minimum requirement is for an undergraduate degree in engineering or business related field. 10+ years of related experience with a minimum of 5 years in a management role. Minimum 5-7 years experience in EPC and Oil & Gas Environment Accreditation/certification as SCMP with PMAC an asset Accreditation/certification as CCME with IACCM an asset Produced Water Experience an asset A strong and broad knowledge of Supply Management and Contracts
