POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Project Manager is primarily responsible for supervising the Construction Project Managers for the new store, fixturing, and remodel projects including bidding projects, ordering materials, reviewing revisions, and facilitating communication between merchandising departments as well as contractors. 

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review, analyze, and provide commendations for all bids/proposals, schedules, and other construction related items for the Menards new store, fixturing, and remodel projects

• Maintain master material order forms
• Coordinate revisions between design team and contractors
• Supervise Project Managers assigned to new store, fixturing, and remodel construction
• Communicate between Merchandising, Construction Project Managers, and Operations department personnel to ensure successful projects
• Manage and communicate with contractors hired by Menards Properties

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

·         Bachelors Degree in Construction Management or combination of Menards retail store experience and post high school education is preferred

·         Supervisory experience is required.

·         Ability to read and interpret construction documents.

·         Knowledge of store facilities, including fixtures and displays.

·         Excellent communication and organizational skills.

·         Strong computer knowledge
